Most septic "emergencies" are repair situations — not replacement situations. A failed baffle, a cracked riser, a stuck float switch, a clogged distribution box: these are repairs measured in hundreds of dollars, not what a full system replacement would cost. The difference between getting one or the other is who you call and how honest they are about what they see.
We diagnose, recommend, and repair. If repair won't last, we'll tell you straight up — but we'd rather fix what's actually broken than upsell you on something you don't need.
Repairs we handle most
- Baffle replacement — concrete inlet/outlet baffles that have eroded or broken. Critical to keeping solids in the tank and out of the drain field.
- Effluent filter replacement & cleaning — modern tanks have filters that need periodic service. We replace clogged or broken ones.
- Tank lid / riser repair — cracked concrete lids, settled risers, broken gaskets allowing infiltration.
- Distribution box repair — D-boxes that have settled, broken outlets, or roots growing through.
- Pump replacement — submersible effluent pumps that have failed in pressure-dose systems.
- Float switch / control panel issues — alarms going off, pumps not cycling, electrical faults on ATU controls.
- Aerator service (ATU systems) — replacement of failed aerator motors on Norweco, Hoot, Jet, and other aerobic units.
- Line breaks — between tank and distribution box, or between D-box and drain field laterals.
- Drain field rejuvenation — for biomat-clogged fields that aren't fully failed yet, often recoverable through aeration, terralift, or chemical treatment.
When repair is the wrong answer
We tell customers this directly: not every failure is fixable. A fully collapsed drain field where the soil pores are completely sealed with biomat is replacement, not repair. A tank with structural cracks in the bottom is replacement. A system that's 35+ years old with the original components and multiple ongoing issues is usually better replaced than repaired piece by piece. We'll tell you when that line has been crossed instead of stringing you along with quick fixes.

Warranty
All repair work is warrantied. Specific warranty terms depend on the component repaired — pump installations carry the manufacturer warranty (typically 1-3 years), labor warranty is 90 days minimum. We document everything in writing so there's never a question about what's covered later.
